In 232 years, no one in the United States government could ever have imagined what was about to happen as the President started to deliver his State of the Union address. Preoccupied with their paranoia, filled with disdain and disgust for the 'common' American citizen, lustful for more power and wealth than they already had, and determined to lay the foundations for a global government, high-ranking members of the Cheney-Bush administration and its crack Homeland Security agency never saw it coming.....
The Capitol building bustled with its typical excitement and phoney adoration. After the traditional standing ovation and a few muffled cat calls, members of Congress dutifully took their seats in anticipation of the President's annual gush of hyperbole and propoganda. TV newscasters would, after the address, explain to the dumb-downed American public exactly what the President had said. But, before the President's laudatory salutations had been uttered, the entire building went dark. A microphone picked up the President's last words: "What the hel....." The mammoth building crumbled, imploded, collapsed. Precisely 533 members of Congress, their spouses, and hundreds of invited dignitaries, lie motionless, buried alive in what now was only a dust-encrusted tomb. The Capitol building, symbol of America's strength and guardian to the country's rich history of global leadership and national unity, lay in ruins, eerily reminiscent of those ancient remains from the Greek and Roman empires.
In that same instant, similar explosions rocked the rest of the country. The White House caved in on itself. The Pentagon lie in shambles. Rockefeller Center in New York City was now a pile of debris. Multi-million-dollar homes of those babbling psychopaths from Fox News and CNN were obliterated, as were the suburban homes of some of America's most powerful lawmakers in the McLean, Virginia area. K Street, where most Washington lobbyists had their offices, was demolished. Homes owned by Ann Coulture, Hillary Clinton and Rush Limbaugh were reportedly reduced to rubble, but no one knew for sure if the occupants were at home when the blasts hit.
Across the continent, federal government offices, court houses, and palatial judges' chambers were destroyed. National headquarters of some of America's largest and wealthiest corporations were instantaneously turned into grotesquely twisted smolderings of fine marble, granite, steel and rich woodgrains. The CIA and the FBI buildings had become instant crypts for all the victims trapped inside those monolithic symbols of U.S. power and authority. Hundreds of the country's wealthiest and most prominent elitists were dead, their fortunes buried with them among the physical devastation. All of America's major banks and credit card companies were annihilated.
Rendered completely impotent and transparently startled beyond belief, local police departments, state police agencies, and even personnel of the recklessly-devised Homeland Security organization were unable to formlate any kind of appropriate response. The country remained in an abyss of depression and despair for months afterward as officials unsuccessfully tried to impose martial law; anarchy prevailed. Death and destruction prevailed; America had lost almost all of its governmental leadership, most of its corporate chief executive officers, most of its major media personalities, and many of its wealthiest and most prominent citizens. And that, ironically, ultimately proved to be the good news.
Surprisingly - yet, oddly - no surviving Homeland Security staffers knew who was "in charge" or what was to be done. There had been no guidelines, no training, for anything as massive and destructive as this unimagineable event. Surprisingly - yet, oddly - no one seemed to notice one other peculiarity: all of America's most revered monuments and memorials went unscathed, untouched by the terrorists' bombs. MilqueToast investigations managed to reveal that these bombs were all made from materials available at any local hardware store. Targets had been selectively limited to those buildings, offices, institutions and homes occupied by America's power brokers, inept and corrupt leaders, political appointees and government bureaucracies - in fact, anyone who put their own evil avarice and lust for power or status above the best interests of the American people. Had this been the work of mideast terrorists? Most 'experts' who were still alive believed, instead, it was the work of radical militia groups within the United States. Both theories were wrong.
