Sunday, August 24, 2008 was like any other Sunday across America. Weather conditions were favorable for continued clean-up and recovery work on both coasts; O.U.T.R.A.G.E. activity involving the rebuilding of a great nation went on unabated. World events were being reshaped as leaders of other super-powers contemplated their own strategies for toppling the U.S.A.'s hold on supremacy as the planet's #1 superpower. Of special interest were the goings-on in China and Russia; both countries had vowed in the past to destroy America. The Chinese chose to patiently sit back and watch America destroy itself. Russia - formerly known as the Union of Soviet Socialist Republic (U.S.S.R.) had taken another path: weapons of mass destruction. Even in the early 1960's, Nikita Krushchev had vowed, "We will bury you!"
But the U.S.S.R. crumbled and - even a quarter-century later - Russia had never regained its status as a 'super power'. On January 11, 2007, the Chinese government launched an anti-satellite missile that destroyed one of its own weather satellites 500 miles above the Earth's surface. This "kinetic kill vehicle" demonstrated to the world that China was now a serious contender in the "space wars". During Ronald Reagan's Presidency, he proposed a "Star Wars" initiative designed to combat enemy missiles from outer space by shooting them down before they would strike the U.S.A. There was no question about it: whoever could control the vast space hundreds of miles above the Earth would control the Earth. Now, China had flexed its muscle, and other nations with 'super power' status seemed unprepared to retaliate.
What was extremely curious was the Bush administration's lack of any significant reaction in January, 2007. While George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Robert Gates remained pre-occupied with the "terrorists" in Iraq and Iran, the Bush administration seemed acutely unaware of the ramifications of the most recent Chinese threat.
Then, ironically, at 4;55 p.m. EST, on Sunday, August 24, 2008, the Chinese launched another "kinetic kill vehicle" that was intentionally aimed at - and successfully destroyed - a U.S. weather satellite! Interim President Colin Powell and Interim Vice-President John McCain immediately dispatched U.S. ambassadors in China to the top echelons on the Chinese government, armed with vociferous objections. The Chinese response was extraordinary, to say the least. In effect, the Chinese government plumped up its chest and asked, "So what are you gonna do about it?" Powell and McCain realized that the United States was not in any position to retaliate. What they didn't realize was how deeply the Bush administration had entangled itself with the Chinese government! To their surprise, U.S. officials were shown how the Bush family ties to China - which had extended over a period of decades - had all but created a 'merger' of sorts between the two giant countries. In a transparent attempt to share in China's ultimate goal of world domination, George H.W. Bush had pretty much sold America's soul to the devil, sharing the most intense U.S. government secrets and intelligence for much of the past sixty years! Now, even though George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush, Jeb Bush, and Neil Bush had all been killed by O.U.T.R.A.G.E. bombs, the Bush dynasty would live on as part of the ruling oriental monarchy. It was a day of infamy.....

Sunday, August 17, 2008: the O.U.T.R.A.G.E. membership had now exploded to over twenty-five million members! In less than two months, revelations about the Bush administration's knowledge and involvement in the events of September 11, 2001, outraged U.S. citizens, and gave credence to a radical change in the way the U.S. government was structured. For far too many decades, American politics had been dominated by two corrupt political parties and a handful of families who beieved it was their birthright to serve their own best interests instead of serving the interests of the American constituency. Now, exactly seven months to the day when O.U.T.R.A.G.E. bombs had strategically assassinated most of America's economic and political power bases, U.S. citizens were finally beginning to recognize that their own apathy had played a major role in allowing such shameful, sordid activity to meld itself into the nation's collective consciousness.
Movie stars' sex lives, famous athletes' drug usage, millionaires' squanderous spendings, and ruiness celebrity marriages could no longer be the pre-occupations they once were; Americans needed to address the issues that were really important; if they didn't, the American society would crumble. Already, the economic powerhouses headquartered in New York City were in shambles, thanks to the 'Rebellion of '08' and a horrendous hurricane. The political power base in Washington, D.C. had been obliterated by the same hurricane and the same O.U.T.R.A.G.E. revolution. Los Angeles lay in ruins after O.U.T.R.A.G.E. bombings and a devastating earthquake had wiped out most of the rich and famous and their glittery lifestyles. Economic chaos was only being avoided because the power brokers - now impotent or dead - had been replaced by hard-working people at the state and local levels who managed to keep things afloat. The same went for the political power bases; no longer did a municipal government, a mayor, or a city council, have to wait for instructions from Washington. They simply returned to local management, as it had worked so effectively seventy five years ago before big government stuck its nose into everybody's business. To be sure, there was still considerable disorder and disruption; but, for the most part, local and state governments managed to manage quite well, thank you very much, without the interference of a behemoth federal government that had long ago forgotten its role as public servant.
O.U.T.R.A.G.E. headquarters remained in St. Kitts, dispatching volunteers to various areas of the country to boost morale, assist in clean-up operations, and keep citizens informed as to events as they unfolded. A new political system was being implemented, giving more and more 'common' citizens an opportunity to actually participate in public service. Armchair football viewing now took a back seat to active political intervention. Gradually, more Americans became more aware of - and involved in - such things as recycling, infrastructure, social programs for the less fortunate, and rebuilding a nation that had come upon hard times. Perky Jil Adams continued her quest across America, recognizing and rewarding O.U.T.R.A.G.E. volunteers who had given so much of their lives to the reformation. The Patrick-Patrick team of Lynn Patrick and Patrick Hamilton trouped across the country on its mission to legalize drugs. O.U.T.R.A.G.E. workers helped create new political parties for the upcoming elections in November. Change was underway as millions of Americans began to understand how they could no longer think only of themselves and their own creature comforts. The greatest nation on Earth had to learn, all over again, how to become a united states of citizens who stopped looking out for themselves and started looking after each other. It was a time of greatness, tribulation, and dramatic overhaul. For the first time in decades, people were actually proud to be an American.

Monday, July 28, 2008: a full week had flown by as O.U.T.R.A.G.E. officials poured over documents that revealed the United States' government's involvement in the horrendous tragedies of September 11, 2001. As mountains of papers, videos, and tape recordings were sifted through, it became evident that the Bush administration had been complicit in much more than most naive Americans would ever believe.
There were other stinging revelations: how the Bush administration 'silenced' a California attorney on Christmas Eve of 2006. Outspoken Bush critic and political activist Paul Sanford mysteriously fell to his death from the 12th floor of an Embassy Suites hotel. While police ruled his death a "probable suicide", friends and relatives believed it to be murder. At the time, www.arcticbeacon.com reported the incident, but the American 'mainstream' media ignored it.
Just days afterwards, on December 30, 2006, Germany arrested U.S. Treasury Secretary Paulson and subpoenaed Vice-President Dick Cheney by Tribunal charging Paulson and Cheney with money-laundering schemes that effectively prevented Germany and other countries from accessing international money sources. A scandal of unimaginable proportions involving over $4.5 TRILLION, the American "mainstream" media chose not to report what was, arguably, the most scandlous incident of financial skullduggery in world history. Again, an Internet website in Britain, www.worldreports.org/news/38-paulson-and-cheney-s 'scooped' the worldwide journalism industry as it reported the story to a relatively small audience.
One day later, on New Year's Eve, 2006, the Washington Post's online service revealed how the Bush administration failed to be honest with Americans about the number of American soldiers' deaths in Iraq. "Mainstream" media outlets were reporting that the 3,000th U.S. soldier had died in Iraq. What the Bush administration didn't want the media reporting was the truth: at the time, perhaps no place illustrated the actual toll in Iraq more vividly that Section 60 of the Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia. In the famed "garden of stone" rested "one-tenth" of the Iraq war's American dead. The Bush administration glossed over this startling fact: it never told the lazy, incompetent media that those 3,000 U.S. soldiers were only the ones actually killed while in Iraq. More than 27,000 additional U.S. soldiers had died after being wounded in Iraq and evacuated to military hospitals, where they ultimately died. Those numbers were not included in the Bush administration's information it spoon-fed to a lackadaisical press. Fox News, CNN, CBS, NBC, and ABC presented news only as "fill" between commercials. Newspapers and news magazines allocated more space for paid advertisements that they did space for comprehensive stories or reports about the events in Iraq (or elsewhere, for that matter). After all, real in-depth reporting and exhaustive journalism was expensive - and severely cut into profits. On September 15, 1982, USA TODAY introduced 'fast-food journalism' based on a premis that Americans raised on television, only wanted 'snippets' of news. Dubbed "McPaper" by its detractors and competitiors, it became one of America's leading newspapers, and resulted in most other newspapers following suit. Within the decade, most major American newspapers had dramatically chopped up their news departments and gave more space to advertising and "fluff" than to "hard news". Even Reader's Digest, which at one time accepted no advertising, was now fully 30% advertising - even a preponderance of its articles were nothing more than endorsements for consumer products, nothing more than thinly-disguised ads.
The media played right into the government's hands as it became fat and lazy, bloated and mismanaged. It had forgotten its role as "the fourth estate" which was supposed to be the watchdog over government malfeasance. The media was no longer a public trust; it was part of the government/corporate conspiracy to continue "dumbing-down' America. It was in the federal govenrment's best interests not to encourage students to learn to read. Just as the Catholic Church had thrived mostly in more illiterate countries, the U.S. government flouished when the public was misinformed, uninformed, and uninvolved.
If Americans could be distracted by "news" about Brad Pitt's love life, there was no need for the government to be honest about how many soldiers were dying in Iraq, how a badly-mangled economy was teetering on the verge of collapse, or how corrupt government leaders were destroying the world as we knew it. Evil prevailed. And a gullible American society sat in bars and barber shops complaining about it, yet not lifting a finger to try and change things.
O.U.T.R.A.G.E. had killed off President George W. Bush, Vice-President Dick Cheney, most members of Congress, most of America's wealthy elitists and squanderous celebrities. Now it was dealing with the aftermath of its 'Rebellion o '08' and the destruction caused by a massive earthquake and a horrendous hurricane. As it began trying to re-establish a fresh United States government, it was also discovering disturbing information about how the Bush administration had acted in cloaked secrecy to deny Americans the truth...about anything.
To be sure, it was not just the Bush administration; this kind of spurious behavior had been commonplace within the federal government for decades. All the Bush administration did was take such despicable conduct to a higher limit.
